I’m a disabled girl

Vulnerability 🤍 My Story: I became a C5 quadriplegic in 2020 due to a drinking and driving accident. My twins were 7 months old. I met my fiancé after and he welcomed us with open arms. We’re now living our best life & I never thought I’d be here☺️ I’d love to make friends here! #firstpost

Disabled and Chronically Ill at 25
For as long as I can remember I’ve been the “sick kid”. Missing school, never at any social gatherings, basically invisible. It’s easy to say the last 10 years of my life haven’t exactly been what they should’ve. I’ve missed out on graduation, college, job hunting, moving out, partying. All the nor

Let’s be vulnerable. Disability is HARD
#embracevulnerability #lemon8challenge I’ve been disabled since age 8. I’ve had so many surgeries. And the most important thing I’ve learned from all of this is that I need to ADVOCATE for myself. If something seems wrong, say it. Get second, third, fourth opinions. Advocate for others and
