You can rent them or even DIY one with large hula hoops and white fabric if you're feeling crafty and want to save some budget. One of the absolute showstoppers was the custom 'Monica' neon sign! Adding a personalized neon sign instantly elevates the decor and makes it feel incredibly special. We found a great vendor online who could create custom text and colors. It's a fantastic investment for a recurring event or something significant. If a neon sign isn't in the budget, consider a beautiful vinyl decal or a metallic cutout of the name for a similar effect on your backdrop. The balloon arrangements were another huge element that transformed the space. We opted for organic balloon garlands in varying shades of blue, silver, and white. There are tons of tutorials online for DIY balloon garlands, and while they can be time-consuming, they are definitely achievable and much more cost-effective than hiring a professional. My top tip for balloons is to get an electric balloon pump – it's a game-changer! We intertwined some delicate silver snowflakes within the balloons and around the backdrop to really lean into that winter feel. These small details make a big difference. To tie everything together and add another layer of thematic coherence, we incorporated a beautiful winter-themed banner. This could be anything from a fabric banner with a custom design to simpler printables. Think about what message you want to convey – for a charity event, it could be a thank you message, the event's name, or a motto. When decorating for a charity event, remember that every detail contributes to the overall impression and can encourage generosity.
