A One-Day Escape into Bali Ubud 🍃

Price: $142.98/2 pax ($135.5 after cashback via Shopback)

Product: Bali Highlights Customizable Private Day Tour All-Inclusive (Bali UNESCO World Heritage Sites Private Tour. Purchased from Klook)

-————————————-

$67.75/pax for 6 stops inclusive of transport and attraction tickets — what a steal!

(Lunch not included, but honestly, for that price, who’s complaining?)

We were assigned our tour guide the night before, and he immediately texted us with all the details — vehicle info, pickup time, and yes, it was right at our hotel doorstep. He spoke English fluently, and because we chose the 2-pax option, the whole experience basically felt like a private tour for me and my friend.

The original plan covered 5 UNESCO stops, but when we heard the wait time at Handara Gate was a whopping 1.5 hours, our guide cleverly helped us sneak in a quick shot (don’t expect Instagram-perfection!) so we could move on without wasting time. Thanks to that, our guide was totally cool with us adding an extra stop to Leke Leke Waterfall since it was along the route back. We just had to pay for the waterfall entrance tickets ourselves, fair enough! We really appreciated how flexible he was — plus his local insights and sense of humour made the day even better.

Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Ubud on a day trip and escape the busy, hustling parts of Bali. Great value, smooth experience, and genuinely enjoyable!

... Read moreIf you’re considering a one-day trip to Ubud, adding a tarot reading session can be a unique cultural experience. I found that many locals in Ubud offer insightful readings that add a spiritual touch to your visit, enriching the day beyond just sightseeing. Another tip is to sample Bali’s famous Luwak Coffee during your tour. There are several spots in Ubud offering coffee tastings where you can enjoy the distinct flavor of this rare brew, which really complements a day of exploration. For those wondering about itinerary flexibility, our guide’s local knowledge and adaptable approach truly enhanced our experience. He adjusted the schedule to avoid long waits, letting us capture quick photos at popular spots like the Handara Gate and recommended the Leke Leke Waterfall, which wasn’t originally on the plan but was a refreshing detour. If you plan to take this tour, packing light and bringing a small snack for lunch is wise since the tour cost excludes meals. Also, keep some cash handy for entrance fees to additional sites. Overall, this customizable tour is a fantastic way to dive into Ubud’s rich culture and natural beauty within a single day.

Kuta Lombok feels like Bali without the traffic
🌴 Guide to Kuta, Lombok 🏝️✨ Kuta Lombok seriously surprised me — it’s a very walkable area in the South of Lombok, filled with tons of beautiful restaurants and cafes and near to the most stunning beaches 😍 It reminded me of the Canggu / Seminyak area in Bali but without the crowds and traffic.
