Overnight hair mask ✨🌿
Been doing my research about the products used, click on my previous post for details on what products I used, the benefits and we’re to buy.
Been using for 2 weeks only and have been doing this mask 3 times throughout the week. Plan on using for a duration of 3-4 months to compare before and after.
I had a baby 6 months ago and experienced hair loss in the front of my hair, around my edges and it is slowly growing but I needed some help from natural sources. My hair takes long to grow because I have dry curly hair and does not retain moisture well ( low porosity hair )
Will be washing off in the morning without shampoo just water.
If you’re considering incorporating an overnight hair mask into your routine, it’s important to understand the best practices to maximize benefits, especially for dry or curly hair. From personal experience, applying the mask on damp hair rather than completely dry hair can help with absorption, but some hair types with low porosity may do better with dry application. Since I have low porosity hair, I wet mine slightly before applying and leave the mask overnight, rinsing with water only in the morning—no shampoo, to avoid stripping moisture. Consistency is key. I do this mask three times a week for several months to see visible growth and improved hydration. Choosing natural, nourishing ingredients also makes a difference. In my research, I found that oils like coconut, castor, and essential oils support hair growth while maintaining scalp health. Don’t forget to protect your hair overnight by covering it with a satin bonnet or using a silk pillowcase to reduce friction and moisture loss. Overnight hair treatments can also double as scalp treatments. Massaging the mask gently onto your scalp stimulates blood flow, encouraging hair follicles to revive. Remember, individual results will vary based on hair type and condition. Patience and regular care really pay off in restoring moisture and promoting healthy hair growth on dry, curly hair like mine.
