65 & still working — why ah?
Another fulfilling class session 👩🏻🏫🎬 We kicked things off with a fun ice-breaking activity, and as each learner introduced themselves… something struck me again.
Many of them — 65 and above — are still working. Not because they’re bored or want to pass time… but because they have to.
Honestly, I admire their mindset to keep learning and staying active. But part of me also feels… a little heavy. Why are so many still needing to hustle hard at this stage of life? But it also made me pause and think — is this the kind of retirement we want for ourselves?
Still worrying about income? Still chasing job after job?
Retirement should be about enjoying life - not struggling through it. It should be about rest, freedom, and doing the things that bring us joy.
That’s why I’ve started building something on the side — a fully automated digital system that’s helping me create more time freedom and peace of mind, and more options before I reach that age.
What would your ideal retirement look like?
More time for family? Travel? Hobbies you’ve put on hold?
If you're still unsure, maybe it's time to explore a new path. To start planning smart — not later.
Because we shouldn’t be working until we no longer have the energy to.
Let’s connect. No pressure, just sharing what I found.
