Doing What I Love, Even in a Sea of People l 🤪

Would you squeeze through 100+ people just to spot a Rhinoceros Hornbill — last seen in the 1800s? 👀

I did! I just do what I love: Photographing Birds!

Crazy? Maybe. Worth it? Absolutely.

Stay tuned to my photo ..: 😉

... Read moreBird photography is not just about taking pictures; it’s a journey of patience, appreciation, and connection with nature. When searching for rare birds like the Rhinoceros Hornbill, which many thought lost to history, every moment counts—from the anticipation of spotting one among a crowd to the joy of clicking that perfect shot. The experience taught me the importance of persistence and the thrill of discovering incredible wildlife close up. Going to locations like Sungei Buloh is amazing for birdwatchers and photographers alike. The reserve's biodiversity offers plenty of opportunities not only to photograph rare species but also to learn about local ecosystems and conservation efforts. Tools such as a good telephoto lens and knowing bird behavior help immensely in capturing stunning photos without disturbing the birds. For anyone inspired to try bird photography, my advice is to do it for the love of the craft, enjoy every little discovery, and embrace the crowd if necessary—great moments are worth it!
