Take life one step at a time 😊 ⭐

Supposed to meet my photography kakis this morning for bird photography…

but the sky was already very dark,

so the session got cancelled 😅

Since I was already up,

I decided to go for a short run instead.

Halfway through,

it started drizzling too.

So I quickly ran back and managed to reach the sheltered area just in time 😂

The run ended up much shorter than expected.

But somehow…

I still felt like moving a little more.

So instead of taking the lift all the way,

I decided to walk up 10 floors 😅

And while climbing…

I found myself quietly reminding myself:

just keep going.

One step at a time.

These few weeks honestly felt quite heavy emotionally.

And I think many adults understand this feeling too.

Sometimes life doesn’t go according to plan.

Things happen unexpectedly.

Plans change.

The mind gets tired.

And honestly…

as I slowly walked up the stairs,

I even allowed myself to tear a little.

Not coz I was giving up.

But coz sometimes life just feels heavy.

Yet deep down,

I also reminded myself…

Thank God for not forgetting me.

And thank God for this digital biz too.

Even when I slow down during difficult seasons,

it still continues quietly in the background.

That thought somehow gave me a little comfort 😊

Maybe life is like climbing stairs sometimes.

Not perfect.

Not fast.

But step by step…

we still move forward.

If life feels a little heavy lately for u too…

one step at a time ok 😊

... Read moreReflecting on my own experiences, I find that life often surprises us with sudden changes that disrupt our carefully made plans. Much like the interrupted bird photography session or an unexpected drizzle during a morning run, these moments can leave us feeling discouraged and emotionally heavy. But what helps me push through is embracing the metaphor of climbing stairs — focusing on taking life one step at a time. When faced with difficulties, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed or even shed a few tears. These moments are not signs of defeat but a testament to our humanity. I've learned to pause, breathe, and remind myself to keep moving forward no matter how slow the pace. Sometimes that means walking up ten flights of stairs when I planned to take the lift, simply to honor the small progress I can make. Gratitude also plays a crucial role. Thanking God for strength and for the little things that continue quietly in the background—like a digital business that moves forward even if I slow down—brings comfort and hope. Recognizing that life doesn’t have to be perfect or fast allows me to accept my own pace without judgment. If you’ve been feeling weighed down by unexpected events or emotional fatigue, try to give yourself grace. Celebrate the small victories, like choosing to keep going despite the heaviness. By taking life one step at a time, you nurture resilience and mental wellness, gradually climbing toward better days. Remember, you’re not alone—many adults share this journey, and together we can support one another through the ups and downs.

Still Waiting for the “Perfect Time”?
Honestly, I hear this all the time. And I understand… because I used to ask the same questions too. When life is already full with work, kids, responsibilities, and bills, starting something new feels scary. Our minds protect us by doubting first. But sometimes it’s not fear of scams or failure…
