Waiting is never easy.

What if waiting isn’t wasted?

The past few months…

I’ve spent more time in hospitals than I ever imagined.

Waiting for the doctor.

Waiting for the results.

Then I looked outside the window…

and saw this little dove.

Just sitting there quietly.

Not rushing.

Not flying away.

Just… waiting.

It made me wonder…

Perhaps waiting doesn’t always mean nothing is happening.

Sometimes…

it’s where faith grows the most.

Because while we’re waiting…

God is still working behind the scenes.

Even when we cannot see it yet.

🕊️ Have you ever been in a season of waiting?

... Read moreWaiting can often feel like a frustrating and unproductive experience, especially when it involves situations beyond our control, such as waiting in hospitals for doctors or test results. From my own experience, I’ve learned that these moments of stillness are not just empty pauses but can be transformative periods of growth and reflection. During one particularly long wait at a hospital, I found myself gazing out the window and noticing a small dove sitting quietly—completely still and unhurried. This simple scene was a powerful reminder that waiting doesn’t necessarily mean stagnation. In fact, it can be a silent season where important things happen beneath the surface, like faith strengthening and hope building. If you’ve ever been in a season of waiting, you know it tests your patience and resilience. I found it helpful to shift my perspective and view waiting as an active process—a time to nurture faith, practice gratitude, and prepare for whatever lies ahead. During such times, it’s crucial to hold onto the belief that unseen forces or energies are at work, guiding and shaping your journey even when you can’t immediately perceive the results. Practically speaking, engaging in mindfulness or journaling during waiting periods can make the experience more meaningful. Reflect on what you’re learning about yourself, your hopes, and your values. Embrace the quiet moments as opportunities to recharge mentally and spiritually. Ultimately, waiting is never truly wasted. It is a hidden chapter where patience can transform into strength, uncertainty can evolve into trust, and stillness can become peace. The little dove’s quiet presence outside that hospital window was a beautiful metaphor for this truth—sometimes, the most profound progress happens in the pause.
