Will you get judged for missing meetings? 🤔

I’ve actually missed quite a few business meetings over the past few months.

Not because I wasn’t interested.

Not because I was lazy.

But because life happened.

Freelance work.

Teaching.

Hospital visits.

Looking after my mum.

To be honest…

There was a part of me that wondered…

“Will people think I’m not committed?”

“Will they judge me for falling behind?”

Last night, I finally managed to join another Zoom catch-up with my coach, mentor and business partner.

We shared what we’ve been doing.

The challenges we’ve faced.

And how we can move forward from here.

What I appreciated most was this…

Nobody questioned my commitment.

Nobody judged me for slowing down.

And thankfully…

Nobody was going to “fire” me because life got busy. 😄

It reminded me that everyone goes through different seasons.

Some move faster.

Some need to slow down for a while.

What’s important…

is not giving up completely.

I’m still learning.

Still building.

Still taking one step at a time.

And that’s enough for this season.

By God’s grace. ❤️

💛 Have you ever worried that life would make you fall behind?

... Read moreIn today’s fast-paced business world, it’s common to feel pressured to attend every meeting and appear constantly available. However, real life often gets in the way—whether it's freelance projects demanding immediate attention, unexpected hospital visits, or important family responsibilities like caring for a loved one. I've personally experienced this challenge, struggling with guilt and wondering if missing meetings means others see me as uncommitted or behind. What helped me most was understanding that everyone has their own journey and rhythm. In my recent Zoom sessions with a trusted mentor and business partner, I realized that these people valued my progress and willingness to keep trying much more than mere presence. The support I received without judgment was crucial and reassuring—no one was rushing to fire me or doubting my dedication just because life got busy. I learned that what truly matters is persistence and pacing yourself during different seasons of life. Sometimes, slowing down or temporarily falling behind doesn’t mean you’re failing; it means you’re adapting and prioritizing what’s essential for your well-being and growth. Taking one step at a time, continuing to learn, and building gradually is a sustainable approach. If you’re navigating similar challenges, remember it’s okay to acknowledge the complexities of your personal and professional life. Transparent communication with your team or collaborators can foster understanding, reduce misunderstandings, and allow room for flexibility. Embracing that life’s unpredictability doesn’t diminish your value or commitment but enriches your resilience and authenticity. This perspective not only alleviates the fear of judgment but empowers you to maintain momentum in your digital business journey and personal growth—one deliberate step at a time, by grace and with kindness towards yourself.

In my early twenties hustling
Growing up, I thought working hard was the key to success. Over the years, I learned something important… no matter how much effort you put in, people will still judge your job, your choices, and even your life. The lesson? Hard work is important, but your peace and purpose matter even more.

the part of corporate no one talks about
It’s not the work. It’s being seen. I’ve been working from home for a while now, and I keep thinking about how much lighter I feel when no one’s looking at me. Not in a hiding way. Just — not having to think about whether my face looks tired, or if I should’ve worn something else, or how I co

You don't have to wait to "be somebody" to post. Those days when I was a burnout mom figuring out how to pay bills, I didn’t let the fear of being judged by anyone. I only saw my goals and kept posting. I didn't chase an audience, it grew naturally. No matter what business you want to

The quiet loss of respect
Respect in a relationship isn’t the same as basic human respect - though it should never fall below it. Human respect is about decency. Relational respect is about how you hold someone when they’re not in the room. How you speak about them. How you protect the bond you’re inside. To me, r
