COLORISM - Survival tips

IM a realist btw

Colorism and Racism will never go away because along as European standards of beauty is put on a pedestal marginalized communities will always suffer. A lot of content creators will highlight the systematic structures of how Colorism works without solutions. We need more solutions based tips because constantly talking about the problem is pointless.

1.) Internal Validation and Self hate blocking. 🚫

Internal validation is your core defense mechanism when navigating a racist colorist world because your image will not be represented or pushed to the forefront. Its very important to pratice self preservation and study human psychology. Study the roots of racism and educate yourself about how racial bias can manifeste in your daily life. Once you understand how racist and colorist people behave its going to so easy to combat them when they start thier undercut narcissistic ways of behaving. Its going to be your personal responsibly to black wash your mentality, your social media feed and personal environment should be filled with people that look like you. You also have to stop getting validation from people and remember that you're the main character in your life. Anyone outside of your self is a non-factor.

Blocking Self haters - Most people who pratices racism or Colorism always have Internal mental health issues . They are the ones that have inferiority complex or have a jealousy problem. The racial hierarchy system its makes no logical sense. The only race is the human race. Hating people because of physical attributes is a sign of low intelligence. Most racist people are stupid. Most of thier racial ideologies don't have any scientific proof to back up their claims. EX. having darker skin comes with many benefits compare to a person that is of a lighter complexion. There is scientific studies that supports my statement (ppl of darker skin age slower). Most of these toxic individuals have no personality and lack character development. Once you understand how predictable most racist and colorist people are its so easy to navigate dealing with them because they have low IQs. Honestly they are very predictable and always come from a lower economic class/ come from a privileged background that they never had to be independent so they get thier validation from the outside world.

CUT THE FAT OFF-

Learning the art of detachment and reading the room is skill set that needs to be developed. Don't sit at a table that you're not wanted. Don't force yourself around people or environments that don't treat you with respect. Having high standards will prevent a lot of trauma and unnecessary drama. Its not your job to change racist or colorist people but you have the right to avoid them which will make your life easier. Learn how to use that block button. Don't consume toxic media content . Only watch films and television shows with people that are a reflection of you. You have to create your own utopia inside this system. ( YOUR BASICALLY IN A SELF MADE HEALTHY BUBBLE) .Remember you can't change people and that's the reality that many content creators are not telling ya. You can't educated these people because they are aware of thier actions....The main goals is to totally avoid them. Racism and colorism operate like narcissism. once you cut of thier supply(which is you) they have nobody to feed on because they can't compare themselves to nobody which will lead to them self destruction.

Take Advantage- Use Colorism for your advantage. You can build your life faster when dealing with colorist people because they won't be paying attention to you or they dont value you so you dont own nobody anything. You can move through the world so freely. When it comes to men you won't be viewed in hyper-s***ul way which can give you time to focus on education and things that matter. Being Marginalized can get you to success quickly if you know how to utilize it correctly. (being invisible is a flex). Getting attention from men/ social groups isn't positive. Its a breeding ground for people to use you/ expolit you/abuse you .I look at things from a 360 angle. You have a drama free life because ppl ain't gonna be chasing after to you to get social mobility. Rejection is Protection when you understand it from a adult perspective. stay blessed 🙌 and get to the goals.

I hope my tips help whoever is reading this because a lot of people ask me " how are you mentality so strong " I always say you have to study human nature and don't be scared of nobody.

... Read moreColorism remains a pervasive issue, influencing societal perceptions of beauty. To combat its impact, cultivating internal validation is essential. Individuals facing colorism may struggle with self-worth, often stemming from external societal pressures. The journey includes gaining a deep understanding of the psychological roots of racism and recognizing personal value beyond physical appearance. Avoiding negative influences, whether it be people or media that reinforce toxic narratives, can enhance mental resilience. Creating a supportive community of like-minded individuals offers a protective space for personal growth. Additionally, education is vital; understanding that darker skin tones possess unique benefits can empower individuals. Remember, personal growth flourishes in environments that reflect and affirm one’s identity. Prioritize spaces where you feel respected and valued, fostering positive self-image and communal strength. Be proactive in cultivating positivity while detaching from detrimental interactions. By prioritizing self-empowerment, individuals not only resist colorism but also contribute to broader societal change. Understanding the biases that exist, and promoting unity within diversity, paves the way for a more inclusive future. Ultimately, resilience and advocacy against colorist practices build a foundation for healthy self-love and community solidarity.
