Washing 4c Hair tips

1.) Dont scrunch your hair when you wash it. its best to detangle your hair with okra/flaxseed gel put them in jumbo twist, then wash it. wash your hair in jumbo twist . (section by section).

2.) option 2 . if dont want to wash your hair in jumbo twist . wash the roots of your hair with shampoo then pull out your hair in sections to wash out shampoo and conditioner. remember when you have 4c hair it tends to tangle because our hair grows in a curl pattern. stretching your hair out in sections then hit the root first then working your way down will prevent tangles when washing hair.

3.) always do a hair mask on wash day but put all your hair in one and wash it out as one. keep your hair organized. keep mask for 25- 30 min the most. no longer. use hair mask for your hair priority.

4.) dont ever use a regular towel. use a hair towel for curly hair. dont scrunch your hair when you use the towel. put your hair in one and just softly wrap the towel around hair. treat your hair like a diamond.

5.) dont use hot hot water on your hair warm water is the best.

6.) add water base hair serums for scaple or edges. it bests to add water base products to damp hair.

7.) Wash 4c hair section by section and you can use a clip to keep hair in place.

REMEMBER STAY KINKY

... Read moreCaring for 4C hair requires specific washing techniques to ensure minimal breakage and maximize length retention, as highlighted by the phrase from the image, "Washing 4C Hair Less breakage more length retention." One key aspect is to avoid scrunching or rough handling when washing or drying your hair. Instead, detangle gently using natural gels such as okra or flaxseed gel before sectioning your hair into jumbo twists for washing. This method helps maintain curl pattern integrity while preventing tangling. It’s beneficial to wash your hair section by section, attending first to the roots with shampoo, then rinsing thoroughly while keeping the hair stretched to avoid tangles. If jumbo twists are not preferred, carefully washing roots first and then progressing down each section remains effective. Warm water—not hot—should always be used to prevent scalp irritation and hair damage. Applying a deeply moisturizing hair mask during wash days is essential. Placing all hair together while masking helps keep strands organized and improves product absorption. Limiting the mask time to 25-30 minutes preserves hair health without over-processing. Avoid conventional bath towels for drying; opt instead for towels designed specifically for curly hair and gently wrap rather than scrunch. Water-based serums applied to damp hair can enhance scalp and edge care efficiently. Using clips to keep sections intact during washing simplifies the process and reduces stress on the hair. By incorporating these washing habits, you can significantly reduce hair breakage and enhance length retention for 4C hair—treating your strands with the gentle care they deserve, much like a precious diamond. Remember, staying consistent with these techniques promotes healthier, stronger, and more vibrant natural hair over time.

when it comes to your edges. leave them alone and stay away from edge control untill your hair grows back. check your blood levels= iron , Vitmins D and protein. stay natural and dont do any hairstyles that creates tension. you can put banata/rosemary oil edges. if its stop not working you have to go to a medical hair specialist and see if you have damage your hair follicles permanently.

these shampoos are very hydrating especially for 4c hair. make sure putting water base hair serums in your roots. air dry or blow dry on low heat and do simplest styles like twist cornrows . nothing tight that will cause more damage to hair. spray hair with leave in conditioner everyday. treat your hair like plant
