THE MISCONCEPTION THAT BLACK

HAIR CANT GROW IS OVER!!!!!!!

The problem and Root Cause: The main roots cause of why a lot black women had issues with hair growth is lack of education and hair techniques. All textures can have long full hair but everything starts with taking care/loving your nature hair .

1.) WIGS RELAXERS AND OVER MANIPULATION: Afro hair grows in a curly pattern, which makes the hair more delicate to breaking. Doing tight hairstyles then using products that is clogging your hair follicles is going to cause issues. Wearing lace front wigs without proper techniques to remove the wigs and thats going to cause breakage and removal of hair edges. Relaxers are not good for the hair. I dont care how many people online are saying that never had issues. The chemicals in relaxers are not healthy for the hair.

Hair Washing, TRIMMING, WATER: Afro hair are very similar to plants. Washing afro hair more offening will retain hydration which will lead to less breakage. Washing once a week or 2 times if youre a gym girly that will make a difference. TRIMMING your slit ends is very important. if you see a slit please cut it off. Using water base hair serums and spraying your hair with water mixed in the leave in conditioner will help with length retention.

HAIR POROSITY , TREATMENTS , INGREDIENTS: finding and using products that are for your hair proosity is very important. Using hair treatments for youre hair texture is important. Protein and bond builders can help youre hair to stay strong. Read the ingredients in each hair products that youre using. Having good routine is the first step but knowing what youre putting in your hair will make a difference.

SELF ESTEEM AND HAIR POSITIVITY: Stop treating youre hair like a burden,its is so easy to take care of when you take time to having education on your hair textures. ( personally as a 4c hair girly, 4c is very easy.) Afro hair thrives when you take care of it and LEAVE IT ALONE WHILE KEEPING IT HYDRATED. Wearing styles or if you decide to wear weaves or sews in match it at your hair texture. Everything is social conditioning. Ive notice the women who usually hate thier hair , thier natural hair is always damaged or extremely short( its not by choice, it because they have neglected it ).

VITMINS AND WHOLE FOODS: Vitmins and checking your b***d levels is a major contribution to hair growth. A lot of black women are low in Iron and vitmin D. Having low iron/vit D is a major contributor to hair lose. Not eating enough protein can cause hair thinning. YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!EATING foods high in biotin protein fruits and vegetables can help in hair growth and length retention. EATTING HEALTHY AND LESS PROCESSED FOOD WILL HELP YOU NOT ONLY HAIR BUT THE WHOLE BODY.

ROUTINE: KEEP EVERYTHING SIMPLE INTERMS OF A ROUTINE. BE CREATIVIE BUT DONT DO YOUR HAIR TOO TIGHT. GIVE YOUR HAIR A BREAKE , LEAVE YOUR NATURAL HAIR OUT ✨️ IT WILL THRIVE AND BE LONG.everything is not genetics it all about youre hair routine.

Trimming split ends promptly is also essential, as it prevents damage from traveling up the hair shaft. Incorporating water-based leave-in conditioners and serums helps retain length by keeping hair hydrated. Understanding hair porosity allows one to select suitable products that optimize moisture retention and strengthen hair fibers. Protein treatments and bond builders fortify strands, helping prevent breakage and promote resilience. Self-esteem and hair positivity are key, as embracing natural hair textures fosters a healthier hair care approach. Many who dislike their natural hair may unknowingly neglect it, resulting in damage and shortening. Ultimately, with proper education, hydration, nutrition, and care, black hair can achieve healthy, long growth.
