Tarot was invented in the 1400s , as Africans/Black people we never used Tarot. Our divination was stones, bones, shells, reading water, reading the elements of nature, undderstanding vibrations frequencies , face and ancestral energy readings. Tarot just pulls energy and explains archetype but its not accurate.This is for my real black occultist/spiritualist as you go deep into your journey youre going to naturally breake out of the new age bs and really enter the threst hole dimension of who is spirit and how it really operates. When you walk with spirit you won't even need tools you can just look at a person and know thier archetype and the problems they are going to walk in to. The face can expose everything you need know. Most of what people practice is a water down colonization version of north african/west african middle Eastern pratices. Dreams are more accurate the Tarot. Tarot is dead. Yoruba benin 🇧🇯 and 🇨🇩 hoodoo readings are accurate and spot on. I always tell my black people dont follow anything new age go back to your roots becauee youre the original people so you are the source. people say " as above so below " i believe in " what is spirt trying to tell me " I dont even believe karma because that not even accurate. I believe in who do you have to pay back. whos the person piper.

Over time, I realized that many New Age interpretations, including Tarot, are diluted versions of profound North and West African, and Middle Eastern spiritual systems. Additionally, dreams have become a more reliable source for guidance in my experience, often revealing messages that Tarot cannot. Yoruba, Benin, and Hoodoo traditions especially resonate with me, providing deep, spot-on readings rooted in my cultural lineage. This has encouraged me and my community to revisit our origins rather than adopt external spiritual tools that may not fully reflect our history and spirituality. I also question concepts like karma, which seem less relevant in our context compared to direct accountability — contemplating who we owe or need to reconcile with on a spiritual level. Embracing these traditional methods enriches the spiritual practice by keeping it authentic, dynamic, and intimately connected to our roots and identity.
