A good resume is not to show off, but the art of selling yourself.

1️⃣ Don't just start taking responsibility.

Misunderstanding about Resume Writing

While identifying job titles and responsibilities is necessary information, it is not sufficient.

Because all the other candidates would talk about it.

And it doesn't tell HR how well we can do our job.

Tip: Tell your own story more and emphasize success > Responsibility

2️⃣ Don't start with a common word.

Do not use meaningless headings such as "about" or "summary."

Tip:

- Finish the Experience Section draft and then come back and write the summary and headline.

- Headline, about 3 short phrases. Such as: "Startup Builder, Brand Strategist, and Marketing Head."

- The summary focuses on what HR gets from us, not what we want from the job, because it's about Give & Take.

3️⃣ Experience Section must tell a success story.

This is not just a chronological list of functions, but a showcase of the positive changes we have created in the organization.

If you work in an unknown company, you should give a brief description of what it is.

Start with a concise introduction to tell your personal growth at that company, the size of the team or budget responsible, and the overall growth of the companies we are involved in.

4️⃣ Make Resume Easy to Read (Skimmable)

Let the breathing space (white space) be formatted, clean, simple, elegant, use a bold header in the section that needs to be visually focused, and the font is not too small, cut out more than 20 years old or irrelevant information.
