🎓How I Turned My NCLEX Failure into Success 💪🏽

I came across this inspiring Facebook post and had to share! Someone shared their journey of failing the NCLEX on their first attempt, but instead of giving up, they completely revamped their study habits. 📝

Here’s how they tackled it and PASSED the second time around:

✨ 1. Reflection & Acceptance

They acknowledged what went wrong during their first attempt—whether it was procrastination, ineffective study methods, or test anxiety. It’s important to face the failure head-on and use it as motivation to improve.

✨ 2. New Study Tools

They switched things up and started using Archer Review, a prep tool known for its realistic question bank and strategies. They emphasized how practicing with Archer made them feel more prepared and confident.

✨ 3. Structured Study Plan

They created a detailed study plan with daily goals. They focused on:

   •   Doing 75-100 practice questions daily

   •   Reviewing rationales thoroughly, even for the questions they got right

   •   Breaking study time into manageable blocks to avoid burnout

✨ 4. Mindset Shift

Failing the NCLEX isn’t the end! They adopted a growth mindset and reminded themselves that persistence pays off.

✨ 5. Passed the Second Time! 🎉

With this plan in place, they passed on their second try and are now officially an RN. 🩺

If you’re struggling, remember: FAILURE IS NOT FINAL. Revise your habits, trust the process, and you’ll get there! 🌟

... Read moreWhen I was studying for the NCLEX, one of my biggest worries was, 'Is this one resource truly sufficient for standalone preparation? Does it provide enough *content coverage*?' I know many of you might be asking the same questions, especially when considering tools like Archer Review or UWorld. After my initial setback, I became laser-focused on finding a study method that offered comprehensive support without overwhelming me. My experience with Archer Review truly solidified my belief that it can be a powerful primary tool. The 'Archer Review question bank app' became my go-to. What I loved most was how it structured questions across all NCLEX domains, giving me excellent 'content coverage.' I wasn't just doing questions; I was learning through their detailed rationales, even for the ones I got right. This approach helped me understand why an answer was correct or incorrect, which is crucial for critical thinking on the actual exam. It felt incredibly 'standalone' because it offered video lectures, Qbank, and readiness assessments all in one place. I found myself relying less on external textbooks because Archer's explanations were so thorough. Creating a 'handwritten NCLEX study plan' was also key for me. I used the '3-week Archer Review NCLEX study plan grid' I found as a foundation, but then I personalized it. For example, if my practice tests showed I was 'BELOW THE PASSING STANDARD' in 'Management of Care' or 'Health Promotion and Maintenance,' I'd dedicate extra time to those areas within Archer's Qbank. I'd make sure my daily goals included not just doing 75-100 practice questions but also meticulously reviewing each rationale. This targeted approach ensured I was shoring up my weak spots and truly gaining 'content coverage' where I needed it most. Many wonder if Archer's Qbank is comparable to others like UWorld in terms of question quality and difficulty. From my perspective, Archer’s questions felt very similar to the actual NCLEX in terms of style and critical thinking required. This realism in the 'question bank app' built my confidence significantly. I initially thought I might need multiple Qbanks, but after diving deep into Archer, I realized its depth and breadth were more than enough for me to feel prepared. The key wasn't just having a Qbank, but how I used it – actively reviewing, taking notes, and understanding concepts rather than just memorizing answers. So, if you're asking if Archer Review is 'sufficient' as a 'standalone' study resource, my personal answer is a resounding yes, especially when paired with a structured approach like the 'Archer 3-week study plan.' It provided me with the 'content coverage' and practice I needed to finally achieve 'ABOVE THE PASSING STANDARD' on my second attempt. Remember, consistency and a commitment to understanding the why behind each question will be your greatest assets.
