Weekly Progress
🖤 I have had quite the adventurous weekend. Possibly week. I’ve been working on Fatalities in anticipation of the proof coming in for my poetry book and I have made a dent. With only 10 days being left in October, I am hitting every goal I have created for myself. From revising the second drafts climax to finishing my reading goals.
🖤On Friday, I got my first proof. It looks beautiful, but it’s not what I envision for the final. So, I went through and reformatted everything. Adjusting the size of the book and deepening the colors of the cover. Tonight I will be ordering my second proof.
🖤Saturday morning, I opened Heir of Sun & Moon by Jenessa Ren. I was already reading a little bit throughout the week, but I wanted to batten down the hatchets and focus on it. Let me tell you guys, it is possibly one of my favorite books ever. I have a whole post on that already if you want to catch a glimpse of that.
🖤Sunday (Yesterday) I opened the second book of the series and my mind is still blown. I didn’t put it down for hours. I finally reached part 2 of the book and put it down. It was hard too. My mind is in constant circulation of theories and eagerness.
Anyway, that is all for now. Hopefully, within the next few weeks, I will be setting up market for The Art beneath the Cage 🫶🏻

Additionally, setting a timeline can help maintain focus and urgency as deadlines approach, especially with only days left in October. I encourage fellow writers to share their journey and perhaps reveal what books have impacted their writing.
