Home Recipe: The most addictive little Christmas chocolates 🍫 that you'll be bragging about making!
Occasion & Servings: Christmas/ any occasion bc they're super easy
Ingredient 1 & Portion: a pack of milk chocolate (ready to melt just add wax)
Ingredient 2 : 1 can of caramel
ingredient 3: I pack of whole pecans(or crushed)
Detailed Steps: okay so technically I guess if you're going to buy everything you need it would be 4 things including the wax to melt your chocolate with, the chocolate it's self, the pecans, and the caramel.
1. crush your pecans & thaw caramel
you can do this simply by taking it out of the freezer to sit, or you drop the whole can into warm water to help speed up the process. you only want to thaw to the consistency that is just soft enough to scoop out with a spoon.
2. melt your chocolate
to do this you need two pots one that will fit right into the other.(some of are made to do this, if your pots were not, it is okay if your top pot sits a lil crooked) bottom pot is for boiling water top pot is for your big chunks of chocolate along with a tiny piece of wax added to it, you want your chocolate melted to the consistency that will cover a spoon completely & easily when dipped into
3. Caramel, Pecans, then Chocolate!
scoop an 1/3 of a tablespoon of slightly thawed caramel (I use a spoon for this), toss into crushed pecans (I switch and use a fork for this), then dip it into chocolate ( make sure you have some wax paper set out to let them cool on)
4. when your done you should have little chocolate mounds covered in hardened chocolate, that rush melted caramel& pecans into your mouth as soon as you bite into once!
SO GOOD! & SO EASY! A PERFECT LAST MINUTE GIFT, IF THROWN INTO A CLEAR PLASTIC GIFT BAG WITH SOME TISSUE PAPER AND A BOW TO TIE IT CLOSED!
Additional tips/notes: ANY QUESTIONS JUST ASK! I used to make these with my step mom for teachers and carries gifts through the holidays! they loved them and so did I!! btw they should not come out as big as the last picture, they are smaller than that and completely covered in chocolate!
