History
It is a precinct shrine of Toshogu Shrine, which was enshrined at the top of Futabasan about 250 years ago from the Genroku era. From the distant past, it has been designated as Konko Inari Okami by Kamui Kagetaru as a god of various wishes fulfillment such as business prosperity and family safety. There are about 500 steps of stairs to the inner shrine of the summit, 120 red painted torii gates, and many visitors from Hiroshima on the 1st and 15th of every month.
There is a great reward that you can see a part of Hiroshima city when you climb up to the inner shrine.

金光稲荷神社は、広島東区の二葉山山頂に位置し、その歴史は元禄時代（約250年前）に遡ります。私は初めて訪れた時、この神社の荘厳な雰囲気と朱塗りの鳥居が連なる参道に圧倒されました。特に注目したいのは、約500段もある階段の登りごたえです。体力に自信のない私でも一歩一歩ゆっくり進み、最後には広島市内の美しい景色という素晴らしいご褒美が待っていました。 この神社は、商売繁盛や家内安全のご利益で知られており、毎月1日と15日には多くの参拝者が訪れます。私も月に一度は参拝し、心身ともにリフレッシュしています。御朱印もいただけるので、訪問の証として集めるのもおすすめです。 また、お狐様が神社の象徴的存在として祀られており、その神秘的で少し怖い雰囲気も参拝の醍醐味の一つ。地元の方々との会話や、同じように階段を登る挑戦を共にすることで、より深く神社の歴史や魅力を感じることができました。 金光稲荷 神社は単なる観光スポットではなく、訪れるたびに新たな発見と癒しを提供してくれます。広島東区を訪れた際は、ぜひ足を運んでみてはいかがでしょうか。
