I Should Be Dead. Instead, I Got a Second Chance. ❤️

New Chapter. New Day. New Perspective. ❤️

A few days ago, I came face-to-face with how precious life really is.

After my heart attack, it’s still surreal to think I almost wasn’t here.

I should be dead.

Instead, I’ve been given a second chance.

Randy 2.0 has been activated.

This experience has changed my perspective on what truly matters.

✨ Be present.

✨ Be kind.

✨ Be humble.

✨ Tell people you love them.

✨ Put the phone down.

✨ Make beautiful moments.

The things that used to stress me out don’t seem nearly as important anymore.

I want to thank everyone who reached out with prayers, texts, calls, messages, and love. It meant more than you’ll ever know.

My priorities moving forward:

🙏 God

❤️ Health

👨‍👦 Family

😊 Joy

💼 Business

In that order.

God is Great.

I love you all.

Be Good. ❤️

From my own journey, I realized how quickly life can change, turning everyday stresses into reminders of what really counts. The hospital halls, the quiet moments listening to the crisp air and birds, gave me a new sense of peace and gratitude. I found myself reflecting deeply on the importance of being present—truly valuing time with loved ones over endless distractions. One valuable lesson I embraced during recovery is the vital importance of listening to your body. If you feel unwell, don’t ignore it or try to power through—seek medical help promptly. Being proactive about health is not macho; it’s smart and life-saving. This mindset shift helped me overcome fear and accept help from family, friends, and even strangers who reached out with prayers and love. Recovery is not just physical; it reshapes your mindset. I started prioritizing what truly matters—placing God, health, family, joy, and then business—in that order. This order helps maintain balance and purpose, reminding me daily to put down my phone, show kindness, humility, and communicate love openly. These small but powerful changes foster beautiful moments and a genuine appreciation for life’s fragility. Sharing my story, I hope to encourage others facing health challenges to find courage in vulnerability and embrace new beginnings. Life after a heart attack, especially one as serious as a widowmaker event, offers a chance to rewrite your personal story with gratitude, strength, and faith over fear. Remember, every day given is a precious gift—use it to cultivate joy and meaningful connections.
