เผื่อใครกำลังเสิร์ชหา “escape room portal / shadow zen escape room / room escape” แล้วลังเลว่าเหมาะกับมือใหม่ไหม—เราเป็นคนนึงที่ไม่ใช่สายเกมปริศนาเลย แต่พอได้ลอง Shadow Zen: The Vanishing Monk ที่ Escape Room Portal คือรู้สึกว่ามัน “เข้าถึงง่ายแต่สนุกจริง” เพราะโจทย์ไม่ได้ยากจนท้อ แต่ก็ไม่ได้ง่ายแบบเดาๆ เอา สิ่งที่ชอบมากคือธีมญี่ปุ่นและพร็อพในห้อง รายละเอียดอย่างเสื่อทาทามิ โต๊ะเตี้ย หน้าต่างญี่ปุ่น มุมสวนหินเล็กๆ ไปจนถึงโต๊ะทำงานกับโคมไฟ ทำให้เรารู้สึกเหมือนหลุดเข้าไปในเรื่องจริงๆ แถมหลายๆ จุดในห้องมันเชื่อมโยงกันหมด ไม่ใช่แยกเป็นปริศนาโดดๆ ใครชอบแนวสังเกตสิ่งรอบตัว น่าจะเพลินมาก ถ้าถามว่า “ควรไปกี่คนดี” จากประสบการณ์ เราว่า 3–5 คนกำลังสนุก เพราะมีทั้งช่วงต้องกระจายกันค้นหาคำใบ้ตามมุมต่างๆ และช่วงต้องมานั่งเชื่อมข้อมูลเข้าด้วยกัน ถ้าไปเป็นคู่ก็เล่นได้ แต่ต้องคุยกันเยอะๆ และแบ่งหน้าที่ชัดหน่อย (คนหนึ่งสังเกต/ค้นของ อีกคนจดสิ่งที่เจอไว้) ทริคเล็กๆ สำหรับมือใหม่ใน room escape ที่ช่วยให้ไม่มึน: - ตั้ง “จุดวางของกลาง” เอาของ/เบาะแสที่เจอมาวางรวมกัน จะไม่ลืมว่าเราเจออะไรไปแล้ว - อ่าน/ดูทุกอย่างให้ครบก่อนรีบลองมั่ว เพราะบางคำใบ้ซ่อนอยู่ในรายละเอียดเล็กๆ - จดสิ่งที่สำคัญ เช่น ตัวเลข สัญลักษณ์ ลำดับเหตุการณ์ หรือคำญี่ปุ่นที่เจอ (ถ้ามี) - ถ้าติดนานเกิน 5–7 นาที แนะนำขอระบบช่วยเลย จะได้ไม่เสียจังหวะและยังสนุกต่อ เรื่องเวลาโดยรวมประมาณ 45–60 นาที กำลังดี ไม่ยืดเยื้อ พอผ่านห้องย่อยไปเรื่อยๆ ความรู้สึกมันเหมือน “เคลียร์ด่าน” จริงๆ ซึ่งทำให้ทั้งทีมอินมาก การเดินทางเราว่าสะดวกสุดคือ BTS ชิดลม ออก 4 แล้วเดินเข้าซอยหลังสวนไปตึก Piya Place (อยู่แถวๆ เดอะ เมอร์คิวรี่ วิลล์ แอท ชิดลม) ใครนัดเพื่อนหลังเลิกงานคือไปต่อได้ง่าย สรุปแบบคนลองครั้งแรก: ถ้าอยากเริ่มเล่น escape room แบบไม่โหดเกิน Shadow Zen ที่ Escape Room Portal เป็นตัวเลือกที่ทำให้เรากล้าพูดเลยว่า “ต้องมีครั้งต่อไป” จริงๆ
