Technology is at the heart of the study of food technology, because it is the use of methods, procedures, manufacturing processes, together with tools-machines, to process, preserve, contain, preserve and measure food quality in places designed to control the environment appropriately.
ENGINEERING

การเรียนสาขาเทคโนโลยีอาหารที่มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิตเป็นประสบการณ์ที่เติมเต็มทั้งทักษะและความรู้ที่จำเป็นสำหรับสายอาชีพในอุตสาหกรรมอาหารสมัยใหม่ โดยตัวผมเองได้รับรู้ว่าหลักสูตรที่เรียนมีการบูรณาการแบบ STEM อย่างแท้จริง ซึ่งช่วยให้เข้าใจอาหารในมุมกว้าง ไม่เพียงแค่รู้ว่าอาหารคืออะไร แต่ยังรู้ถึงโครงสร้างทางวิทยาศาสตร์ วิธีการถนอมและแปรรูปที่ถูกต้อง รวมถึงการใช้เทคโนโลยีและเครื่องมือเฉพาะด้านเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพและความปลอดภัย สิ่งที่ผมชอบมากคือการที่วิชาวิศวกรรมช่วยให้เราได้เรียนรู้การออกแบบเครื่องมือและกระบวนการผลิตให้สามารถผลิตอาหารปริมาณมากได้อย่างมีคุณภาพคงที่ อีกทั้งการนำคณิตศาสตร์มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการคำนวณสูตรอาหาร วางแผนกระบวนการผลิต และวิเคราะห์อายุการเก็บรักษา ทำให้สามารถควบคุมคุณภาพและมาตรฐานได้จริงในสถานการณ์การผลิตที่เปลี่ยนแปลง ภายในห้องเรียนและห้องปฏิบัติการก็เต็มไปด้วยเทคโนโลยีทันสมัย เช่น เครื่องมือวัดคุณภาพอาหาร ระบบควบคุมสภาพแวดล้อมสำหรับการจัดเก็บและผลิต ที่ช่วยจำลองการทำงานจริงในโรงงานผลิตอาหาร ในมุมของนักศึกษาแล้ว รู้สึกว่าเรียนที่นี่เหมือนเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับโลกอุตสาหกรรมจริงๆ สรุปแล้ว การเรียนเทคโนโลยีอาหารที่ ม.รังสิต ไม่เพียงแค่ได้ความรู้เชิงวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีเท่านั้น แต่ยังได้ทักษะวิเคราะห์และแก้ปัญหาในการผลิตอาหารอย่างยั่งยืน ถือเป็นทางเลือกที่น่าสนใจสำหรับคนที่อยากทำงานในสาย STEM และอุตสาหกรรมอาหารที่มีการเติบโตสูงในยุคนี้
