How Can I Pull This Off?

I have a halloween gala I’m going to and I want to go as a vampire with my bf being the victim. I’m trying to figure out the easiest way to do vampire fangs with braces. Any advice??

My best bet is obviously the braces wax but it’s not good at sticking and I’d have to remove them to eat or drink. I was also thinking of getting the normal vampire fangs and using wax instead of the sticky stuff they give you. Help me out here!!

It's tricky to find fangs for braces that actually stay put and look good. Let's dive into some more options beyond just basic wax. While braces wax is definitely safe, its sticking power is, as you said, often a letdown. To make it work better, try drying your teeth thoroughly before applying, and warm the wax slightly in your hands first. Press it firmly around your brackets and fangs, but remember, it's a very temporary fix. Have you thought about dental adhesive or denture cream? Now, hear me out – this isn't for every type of fang, and you must ensure it's non-toxic and easily removable. Products like Polygrip or Fixodent are designed for oral use and can offer a stronger hold than wax. Apply a tiny dot to the inside of your fang, place it over your chosen tooth (ideally one without a bracket directly in the way), and hold for a few seconds. Always do a patch test first and make sure it doesn't irritate your gums or interfere with your braces.
