Asking for donations for my daughters school food drive.

EVERYTHING WILL BE GOING TO FOOD DRIVE As a family that will be needing a thanksgiving meal from my daughters school- I’m using my platform in hopes other will come together to help me with a big food order for family’s attending my daughters school. With my platform- I thought it’s the least I can do… so many family-including myself- are impacted by wic and snap benifit being held. I’ve been praying over so many family’s in hopes they find a way. That god finds a way for these children- and their family. especially during the holidays. We don’t know how long this will last- but I do know that I can use my platform to TRY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE#foodhelpsthesoul #feedthechildren #fooddrive

The Christa McAuliffe STEM Academy is hosting a meaningful Holiday Food Drive to support families in need this season. This event, partnered with the Student Council, aims to provide Thanksgiving meal bags to families affected by economic challenges and recent changes to WIC and SNAP benefits. Donations can be dropped off at the school’s Food Pantry barrel or given to teachers, making it easy to contribute. Each sponsored Thanksgiving bag contains essential items like stuffing, macaroni & cheese, cornbread mix, instant mashed potatoes, gravy, canned vegetables, cake mix, frosting, and a $25 grocery store gift card for purchasing turkey or other proteins. These thoughtfully assembled bags ensure families receive everything needed for a festive and nourishing holiday meal. Additionally, the school will hold a Mobile Food Drive on November 20th during driveline, allowing community members to conveniently donate frozen meals and pantry staples. To encourage support, attendees who bring food items to HOME basketball games will receive free entrance, spreading awareness and generosity throughout the school community. This initiative highlights the power of collective action and using platforms to uplift those struggling, especially children and families facing food insecurity during the holidays. By contributing to this school food drive, donors help brighten the season and foster a spirit of community care and gratitude.
