Day 7: A Book I Couldn’t Put Down 📖✨

I’ve found that sometimes the timing of when you pick up a book makes all the difference. This was exactly my experience with the book I initially DNFed (did not finish). At first, it just didn’t resonate with me—it felt like I wasn’t in the right mindset or phase of life to truly connect with the story or characters. However, after setting it aside and revisiting it later, I was completely hooked. The characters, especially themes like the power and pain of first love, suddenly felt much more relatable. It reminded me of the emotional depth that Chloe Walsh captures in her work, such as in "Boys of Tommen #1," which explores complex feelings with such intimacy. This experience taught me to never completely give up on a book too soon. Sometimes, a book just needs to find you at the right moment. It can be rewarding to revisit stories and give them a second chance—they might surprise you and become favorites. For fellow readers, I recommend not rushing the judgment on a book and being open to returning to one when you feel more receptive.
