The story of a boy born on a cold night so unusable by the heart. The doctor who helped give birth used a clock instead of the heart to keep the boy alive. Time passed, the boy grew up and was in love, but the doctor forbade him to be in love because the clock would cause him pain and possibly death.

Fantastic realist fiction, whose content may not work with us much, but it is read until the end because it likes translation and stories after Jack leaves the house, is quite enjoyable and sad.

What doesn't get is probably because the character is very young, but there's love in an adult way (but understandably, because the story might have been written a long time ago), which love par is anything but inin.

But I like the doctor, but unfortunately it's a little less like the love between the doctor and Jack than the heart. We think Jack actually has a heart, but the doctor chose to wear a watch to protect the boy from suffering, because Jack's mother, a prostitute, didn't really want this child, so the doctor chose to protect Jack's heart by saying don't have love at all.

But in the end, Jack desires to be in love, which is probably what writers want to tell us: Sometimes forbidding a child to confront his feelings of disappointment, suffering can make him so weak that he can not dare to confront things, must not forget that life is his best to learn by himself.
