Thank you Jesus ❤️☀️
Hey everyone! 👋 I wanted to share something that deeply resonated with me lately, especially when I was feeling a bit lost or misunderstood. It’s a passage from the Bible, John 1:10-12, and it truly opened my eyes to the incredible invitation Jesus offers us. Reading John 1:10, it says, "He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him." Isn't that profound? The very Creator of everything, the Lord of heaven and earth, walked among us, and yet so many didn't recognize Him. It made me think about times I've felt like that – present, but unseen or unheard. It’s a powerful reminder that even Jesus experienced a form of being unacknowledged by the very world He brought into existence. This verse highlights a certain blindness, a spiritual unawareness that can affect us all, preventing us from seeing the divine truth right in front of us. Then, John 1:11 continues, "He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him." This part always hits me hard. Imagine coming home to your own people, and they turn their backs on you. It speaks volumes about human nature and our tendency to reject what we don't understand, or what challenges our comfort zones. Sometimes, we're so caught up in our own ideas or burdens that we miss the greatest gift standing right there. It’s easy to feel weary and carry heavy burdens when we try to navigate life on our own terms, often unknowingly pushing away the very source of peace. But here’s where the hope shines through, in John 1:12: "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." This verse is a game-changer! Despite the world's rejection and the lack of recognition, Jesus extends an open invitation. It doesn't matter what your past looks like, or how many times you've felt like an outsider. If you simply receive Him – believe in His name – you are given the incredible right to become children of God! It's not about earning it; it's a gift, pure and simple. It means you're no longer an orphan in this vast world, but a beloved child with a divine inheritance. For me, truly understanding this has been like finding a profound rest for my soul. You know that feeling when you're carrying a light burden and an easy yoke, as Jesus promises? That's what it feels like to truly belong to Him. When I feel overwhelmed, remembering that I am a child of God, simply because I received Him, brings such comfort. It reminds me that I don't have to be wise or clever in the world's eyes; I just need a childlike faith to accept His love and guidance. It’s a daily journey of trusting in the Father, knowing that with Jesus, I am seen, accepted, and loved beyond measure. What a beautiful promise!
