This year, I immersed myself in a variety of compelling reads that left a mark on my heart and mind. One standout title is 'Magnolia Parks' by Jessa Hastings, which offers a thrilling mix of romance and drama within a vivid NYC backdrop. Another favorite is 'The Court of Thorns and Roses' series by Sarah J. Maas, a fantasy world brimming with magic, intense characters, and breathtaking landscapes. For those looking for heartfelt stories, 'Just Last Night' by Mhairi McFarlane explores the complexities of deep friendships and the impact of grief. It beautifully illustrates how two friends navigate life's unexpected turns. If you're in the mood for something unique, 'Twisted Crowns' by Rachel Gillig stands out, merging fantasy elements with relatable themes of identity and sacrifice. Additionally, 'The Road' by Carissa Broadbent captivates readers with its rich storytelling and complex characters, while 'A Crown of Silver Flames' offers an exhilarating continuation of Maas's beloved series. From thrilling adventures to poignant narratives, this year's selection showcases a diverse array of voices and styles that cater to every book lover's taste.
