Writing update 🫶 my book project ✨

I’ve fallen so hard for this story it’s actually becoming a problem 😭

It’s messy, mysterious, filled with secrets, and there’s a forbidden love trope that has me giggling and kicking my feet while I write.

Every time I draft a new scene, I just want to hurry up and finish so I can go back and re-read the chaos from the beginning.

... Read moreThis captivating dark romance novel embraces the allure of mystery and the complexity of forbidden love, drawing readers into an atmospheric setting filled with suspense and emotional depth. The story revolves around a cursed theater, a key setting that adds a gothic and supernatural dimension, enriching the plot with themes of curiosity, danger, and passion. The narrative explores deep emotional conflicts, as characters navigate the shadowy history of the theater, which seems to possess a life of its own, punishing those who dare to uncover its secrets. Moments like a haunting piano performance with warped, reversed notes highlight the eerie ambiance and create tension, symbolizing the struggle between fate and free will. Incorporating elements such as secret confessions, unspoken emotions, and the magnetic pull of forbidden relationships, the novel skillfully engages with popular tropes in dark romance and mystery genres. The forbidden love trope, known to evoke intense emotional responses from readers, is interwoven with the gothic romance tradition, characterized by an ominous atmosphere, emotional turbulence, and haunting landscapes. As the author progresses beyond 47,000 words, the intricate layering of suspense, romance, and supernatural mystery promises a gripping reading experience. Fans of dark romance, gothic tales, and mystery novels will find the story's combination of secrets and emotional turmoil both compelling and relatable. This update invites readers to anticipate a richly developed plot where love and danger intersect amidst a haunted theater’s shadows, offering a unique blend of genres that appeals to those seeking atmospheric and emotionally charged storytelling.

I never thought I’d write an introspective dystopian. I certainly never thought I’d develop a world that allows for a prequel before the main series. Tbh I never thought I’d be a writer, but to stay a scholar forever studying on the sidelines…but here I am loving every second of it! 💕 #introspe
