Many of you often ask me how I manage to juggle everything, and honestly, every single day is an adventure. My 'day in the life' vlogs aim to capture a glimpse of what goes on, but there’s always so much more happening behind the scenes than just what you see on screen. For example, planning content, brainstorming new ideas, and keeping up with trends usually happens in fragmented moments – during nap times, late in the 'evening in' after the little ones are finally asleep, or even sometimes while I'm waiting in the carpool line. It truly is a constant dance of filming, editing, engaging with my incredible community across various platforms, all while simultaneously keeping up with household duties, preparing meals, and most importantly, cherishing those precious, fleeting family moments. It's a balance that I'm always refining, and some days I feel like I've mastered it, while others, I'm just trying to keep all the plates spinning! One of the most crucial lessons I've learned on this journey is the immense importance of setting clear boundaries and embracing a flexible schedule. Rigidity just doesn't work in 'the life' of a SAHM, especially one who's also a digital creator. Some days are absolutely perfect; I manage to tick off every single item on my to-do list, from tackling a mountain of laundry to meticulously editing a new video project. Then there are other days when it feels like I'm simply surviving, barely getting by, and you know what? That’s perfectly okay too! It's all about extending grace to myself and finding profound joy in the small, everyday things. Whether it's the simple pleasure of decorating for the holidays and seeing the sheer wonder on my kids' faces as they gaze at the twinkling 'Christmas lights', or just enjoying a quiet cup of coffee before the day truly begins, these moments are often what inspire my next piece of content or fuel my creative spark. If you're a fellow stay-at-home mom who's aspiring to venture into the world of digital creation, my biggest and most heartfelt advice would be to simply start where you are. Don't wait for perfection; it rarely comes. Utilize the resources you currently have, whether it's your phone camera, natural light, or just your unique perspective. Share your authentic 'life', because that's what truly resonates with people. Don't be afraid to show the real, unpolished, and sometimes messy moments. Those are the stories that truly connect us and build genuine communities. It's not always glamorous, let's be honest, but it is incredibly rewarding to build something you're passionate about, create meaningful content, and connect with others, all while being present and nurturing your family. What are some of your biggest challenges or moments of joy in your own creative or family journey? I'd love to hear them!
