The first book of the year, was not for me.

I’ve been wanting to read The Selection series for ages but was hoping to borrow it from my library first to check I like the writing style.

When I saw the audio was available on Borrow Box I was super excited. This is a novella spin off from the series. I’m not sure if the main series is better by this wasn’t great for me.

The main character is a poor girl that’s fawning over the Prince. He had done to earn her admiration, and it was instant love on her part.

Thankfully it was a short read. Sadly, I’ve lost interest in reading this series. If the main books are better, let me know but for now they are off my TBR Wishlist.
