Being a makeup artist has taken me places I used to only daydream about, and this trip is a reminder that hard work, faith, and consistency really do pay off.
Mexico is just the beginning. The first of many countries, many brides, many opportunities, and many adventures to come. 🤍✈️
Forever grateful for this journey and everyone who’s supported me along the way.

Following my dreams all the way to Mexico has been a truly life-changing experience. As a makeup artist, the idea of traveling for work might seem glamorous, but it definitely requires commitment and consistency. When I first considered becoming a travel makeup artist, I knew it meant stepping out of my comfort zone—working with brides in unfamiliar locations, adapting to different cultures, and managing logistics like timing and product transportation. One of the most rewarding aspects of working as a destination wedding makeup artist is the opportunity to create unforgettable moments for clients who are celebrating their special day internationally. Each destination has its unique charm, and Mexico stood out with its vibrant culture, beautiful settings, and warm atmosphere that enhanced my creativity. It’s essential to maintain a strong work ethic and faith in your skills because challenges will arise. From unpredictable weather to last-minute changes, being flexible and prepared is crucial. Building trust with clients and local vendors also plays a big role in delivering smooth, high-quality services. Aside from improving your makeup artistry skills, traveling for work broadens your perspective and inspires new ideas. Meeting brides from different backgrounds has enriched my approach and expanded my portfolio, giving me confidence to explore new countries and opportunities. For anyone aspiring to become a travel makeup artist, my advice is to start building a strong network, document your work professionally, and embrace every adventure with open-mindedness. Mexico was just the beginning of my journey, and I am excited for the many destinations and brides to come, all made possible by dedication, support, and passion for what I do.
