Broken Money: Why Our Financial System Is Failing Us and How We Can Make It Better by Author Lyn Alden is a book of knowledge of the full history of finance. Admin read this English version in kindle, but there is now a Thai version called "Money Plundered the World."

Personal view after reading

The current financial system seems to be moving towards the brink of the abyss in many countries, including Thailand. Not even good-looking countries like Japan, they take advantage of the state's control over the currency to generate money to spend, stimulate the economy and implement populist policies for electoral votes by implementing budget deficit fiscal policies. This means that the state spends more money every year and then uses Mapo loan bonds to keep expenses going, increasing the state's debt every year.

This method cannot go on forever. It will eventually lead to fiscal bankruptcy, and the method used by these states to solve the problem is to "print more money" to sustain the economy, which causes inflation, and to "rob" their people of their own currency by reducing their national currency.

As an ordinary citizen, to protect yourself from the power of the state to determine its value requires awakening and understanding of the global financial system as it really is; to avoid being deprived of wealth through ongoing inflation; to keep wealth in assets that can sustain its value, whether it be land, gold, real estate, stocks, or digital assets; to do so with proper understanding and risk management, it would seem to be a wise implementation of personal monetary policy rather than saving wealth in all state currencies.

The ongoing war between Iran and the United States is shaking the Petro Dollar system. Japan itself is struggling to solve the economic crisis and the depreciation of the yen, which could lead to the collapse of the Yen Carry Trade system. Rising energy prices are affecting industry and manufacturing in many countries. We should see a series of global economic crises happening at the same time in the near term, and confidence in the current currency system is facing major challenges.
