#Laundrydetergent

💌 Brand:Ariel, Foca, Roma, Biz and Signature scented beads.

💵 Price: $52 give or take

👍Pros : This blend made two buckets worth of mixed powder detergent. Last batch lasted me 3 months. This should last 6 or more.

Purchased from: Detergents were purchased at Walmart. The signature scented beads were purchased on sale at ACME.

⭐️Overall rating: 10/10: This is my second round of blending. I’m satisfied with the results I get in my laundry and it’s teenager friendly.

Additional Tips: I suggest layering in small sections to get a better mix if you are doing it by yourself and wear a mask.

... Read moreHey everyone! So glad you’re here to learn about my ultimate laundry secret. You might have seen my first blend, but this time I went for a 2nd Laundry Blend and decided to Double up this time – and let me tell you, it was the best decision ever! This homemade laundry detergent blend has been a game-changer, especially when juggling a busy household. Many of you often ask, "Is Ariel or Foca better?" or "Ariel vs Foca for stains?" Honestly, I've found that the magic isn't in choosing one over the other, but in combining their strengths! Ariel is widely known for its powerful stain removal and brightening capabilities, often tackling some of the toughest grime. Foca, on the other hand, is incredibly cost-effective and delivers consistent cleaning power. By blending them, I get the best of both worlds: Ariel’s stain-fighting prowess paired with Foca’s reliable, economical clean. It’s truly a dynamic duo that makes my clothes look and feel fresh. When we talk about "what is detergent for clothes," we're usually thinking about something that cleans and freshens. But did you know there are so many brands and types? Beyond just Ariel and Foca, you have options like Biz (which I include for an extra boost), Roma, and Signature scented beads for that amazing smell. Each detergent has its unique surfactants and enzymes designed to break down different types of dirt and stains. That’s why creating a custom blend allows you to tailor your laundry care to your specific needs, rather than relying on a single product that might not cover all bases. A common concern, especially for those with newer machines, is "is Foca detergent HE safe?" While my blend isn't specifically formulated as an HE detergent, many individual components like Foca and Ariel do offer HE-compatible versions. If you have an HE machine, it’s crucial to check the specific packaging of each detergent you use in your blend to ensure it's low-sudsing. Excessive suds can damage HE washing machines, so always prioritize compatibility. For my blend, I mainly use powder detergents, which tend to be less sudsy than liquids in general, but always double-check! Beyond Ariel and Foca, there are other fantastic "detergent brands" to explore. For instance, some of you might remember "Oxydol laundry detergent reviews" from back in the day. Oxydol was historically praised for its cleaning abilities, especially in hard water. While I don't use it in my current blend, knowing about different brands and their unique formulations can inspire your own custom creations. The beauty of DIY blending is that you can experiment! Maybe you want to add a bit of an oxygen booster, or a different type of stain remover. My recommendation for layering in small sections while blending, and definitely wearing a mask, helps keep the dust down and ensures a thorough mix. This strategy truly enhances the richness and practicality of your homemade detergent. My 2nd Laundry Blend was all about scaling up. My first batch lasted me three months, but by choosing to *Double up this time*, I'm expecting this blend to last six months or even more! This isn't just about saving money; it’s about convenience. Not having to worry about running out of detergent every few weeks is a huge plus. The combined power of Ariel, Foca, Roma, Biz, and those delightful Signature scented beads means every load comes out sparkling clean and smelling incredible. It’s truly a 10/10 experience, and I hope my journey inspires you to create your own perfect laundry solution!
