HOW I GREW MY GLUTES 🍑

this is what helped me make some REAL glute gains!✨

it took me awhile to actually see growth because i would follow whatever influencers told me to do! i wasn’t doing any compound lifts. as soon as i started doing them with good form i REALLY saw the growth!

compound lifts, consistency, rest & eating high protein meals made a difference in my body.

i am so proud of myself for sticking with it 🤍

... Read moreHey everyone! So many of you asked for more details on my glute growth journey, especially after seeing my before & after transformation photos. I totally get it – finding what really works can be tough! My original post touched on the basics, but let's dive deeper into how I specifically tackled areas like side glutes and upper glute development, and what my workout routine looked like. When I talk about compound lifts, I'm really talking about the heavy hitters that give you the most bang for your buck. For my glute growth, hip thrusts became my absolute favorite. I’d focus on a deep stretch at the bottom and a strong squeeze at the top, really feeling it in my upper glutes. Back squats were another game-changer, especially for overall glute development and strength. And for those looking to build powerful glutes and target the hamstrings and lower back too, deadlifts (especially Romanian Deadlifts) are a must. These are foundational for any women's glute workout plan, helping you build a solid base. Don't forget that consistent effort with these moves, even just hitting legs twice a week, can make a huge difference over a 6-8 week routine. Beyond the big lifts, I incorporated specific exercises to hit those often-neglected areas. For side glutes (gluteus medius), cable abductions, clam shells with resistance bands, and side-lying leg raises were key. I found that really concentrating on the mind-muscle connection here helped sculpt that rounded look. For upper glute development, besides hip thrusts, I found working on my glute bridge form and using a heavier resistance band for kickbacks really helped fill out that area. But workouts are only half the battle! My diet and recovery were equally crucial for realistic glute growth. I learned to track my macros to ensure I was getting enough protein, carbs, and healthy fats to fuel my muscles and help them repair. Aiming for at least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight was a game-changer for muscle synthesis. And rest? Oh, it's non-negotiable! I always made sure to get at least 48 hours of rest for my leg muscles before hitting them again. Overtraining can be just as detrimental as undertraining. It truly was a journey of consistency, patience, and learning to listen to my body. Seeing those before and after side glutes and the overall glute transformation was incredibly motivating. Remember, everyone's body responds differently, but sticking to these principles—heavy compound lifts, targeted accessory work, proper nutrition, and adequate rest—will set you up for success on your own glute journey! One last tip: progressive overload is essential. This means gradually increasing the weight, reps, or sets over time. Your muscles adapt, so you need to keep challenging them to continue growing. Don't be afraid to lift heavy! It's all part of the process for sustainable glute development. It's not about a quick 3-month glute transformation, but a consistent, long-term commitment that yields incredible results.
