May 2023 in GNP. Before the park is fully opened is the ideal time to visit. Almost no cars and we were the only ones on most of the trails. You cannot drive the full way through due to snow buildup, but the other sights more than make up for the restricted driving area. Glacier National Park #g

Mendenhall Glacier National Park

Total hike with two kids under five took around 2 hours. Easy hike - not too many hills and a well defined trail. Rained part of the way but trail was partially covered. We took the shoreline back up to the beginning of the trail which added time to our loop. ❄️
