We did this together. We did this for US ✨

I couldn’t imagine having the courage you have at your age and it’s truly amazing to see you navigate all sorts of situations. You don’t shy from people or opportunities that are different, but instead you dominant them. I know having a young mom battling mental illness(es) and chronic illness(es) has been hard. It’s been a long road but it’s one worth traveling 1000xs as long as it leads me to you. I’ve been beside you, navigating the long road to your AuDHD diagnosis which came with many ups and downs, but together we made choices that changed everything for the better. I’m so proud of who we’ve become, your courage inspires me every day. I love you 🤍

... Read moreFacing mental illness and chronic illness while raising a child can be overwhelming, but sharing this journey together creates a unique bond empowered by understanding and love. The experience of obtaining an AuDHD (Autism and ADHD) diagnosis often involves complex emotions, lengthy evaluations, and adjustments to daily life. It demands both patience and courage from the family as they learn about new realities and advocate for appropriate support. Behind the scenes, there are many unseen struggles: nights spent crying alone, moments of questioning difficult decisions, and navigating adverse reactions to medications and therapists. These challenges often come with healing from generational trauma and making meaningful apologies. Through this process, a mother and son learn to recognize each other's pain and strengths, building emotional awareness and self-understanding. The son’s growing ability to express his feelings and the mother’s commitment to his well-being emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and tailored support in conditions like AuDHD. Recognizing behaviors as part of neurodiversity rather than shortcomings can transform perspectives and open pathways to success. Moreover, the journey highlights the significance of not giving up when the world may have low expectations — creating a foundation where both mother and son thrive together despite adversities. This narrative reminds us that healing isn’t linear but is worth every step, as love and resilience can lead to profound growth. For families facing similar paths, connecting with communities, seeking trauma-informed therapy, and advocating for individualized care can make all the difference. Ultimately, it’s a story of courage, transformation, and the undeniable strength found in standing together.

I did it 💔✂️
Sometimes life happens, and your hair tells the story. I’ve always been an advocate for healthy hair care, but somewhere along the way, I stopped showing my natural hair the love it deserved. No routines, no treatments just neglect. So, I did what had to be done: the big chop. It’s bittersweet,

HOW WE ORGANIZE OUR MONEY TOGETHER 💍
Yes, we share every single dollar!! We have completely combined finances. We always want to pay ourselves first, which we do through our investment accounts and then we focus on covering the essentials. The most important part is our weekly money dates. We previously did this monthly, but a

Yep, we did. We met on 🙂.
It was December 28, 2017. I was scrolling through iFunny (in collective, I might add), and found a relatable post about Ohio. I left a single comment saying, “hey, I’m from Ohio too!”. Fast forward 6 years and we’ve been married a year & have a wonderful child together. I wouldn’t change it
