It could be worse, it’s been worse and I’m most proud of me☀️ #overstimulatedmom #bpd #traumahealing
Living with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and working through trauma healing is a profound journey that requires deep self-awareness and patience. From my own experience, acknowledging that it could always be worse has been a grounding reminder to stay hopeful. Embracing the identity of an overstimulated mom means learning to manage sensory overload and emotional intensity daily, which is no small feat. What has helped me significantly is creating small, consistent moments of calm throughout the day—simple things like enjoying a refreshing Watermelon Poppy Soda or taking mindful breaks. These acts might seem minor, but they contribute greatly to stabilizing my mood and fostering self-compassion. Celebrating progress, no matter how incremental, encourages resilience and reinforces my pride in personal growth. Connecting with communities around #bpd, #traumahealing, and #overstimulatedmom has also been invaluable. Sharing struggles and triumphs with others who truly understand helps dissolve feelings of isolation and empowers us to continue healing. Remember, healing isn’t linear, and it’s okay to have tougher days as long as you keep moving forward. Being proud of oneself despite the ups and downs is an important step in reclaiming strength and hope.
