Opera House Paris

7/4 Edited to

... Read moreVisiting Opera House Paris is truly a memorable experience that goes beyond its visual grandeur. Known also as Palais Garnier, this historic opera house is an excellent example of Beaux-Arts architecture with its richly decorated interiors, grand staircases, and impressive ceiling murals. When I first walked through its doors, I was captivated by the intricate details, from the golden sculptures outside to the lavish velvet seating inside. One of the highlights of the Opera House is the stunning auditorium, which offers exceptional acoustics for opera, ballet, and classical music performances. Attending a live show there is something I would wholeheartedly recommend for anyone visiting Paris—it feels like stepping into a world where art and history merge seamlessly. Beyond performances, the Opera House also offers guided tours that reveal fascinating stories about its construction, famous visitors, and even the inspiration behind the Phantom of the Opera. These tours provide a unique lens into Parisian culture and the performing arts scene. If you plan to visit, try to allocate extra time to explore the surrounding area which is filled with charming cafes and shops. This makes the visit more immersive and gives a true sense of the Parisian lifestyle. Whether you are an architecture enthusiast, a music lover, or simply curious about Parisian heritage, Opera House Paris offers a rich and rewarding experience.

Sydney Opera House from Day to Night — My Favorite
One spot, three vibes. I spent the day at Kirribilli just watching the Sydney Opera House change with the light — from sunny morning to golden sunset to peaceful night. It’s quiet, local, and feels like a secret spot to slow down and take it all in. If you're visiting Sydney, this view i

A single red rose lies on a snowy or icy surface, with a dark, blurred background, evoking a melancholic and dramatic Phantom of the Opera aesthetic.
A woman with dark, curly hair, wearing a dark cloak, looks down sadly while holding red roses in a snowy, desolate landscape, fitting the dark aesthetic.
A vintage candelabra with lit candles and a vase of pink roses sits on a table with books, creating a warm, gothic, and romantic ambiance.

Repo: The Genetic Opera
In Repo: The Genetic Opera is a gothic horror rock opera musical. It is pretty gory and absolutely inappropriate for anyone under 18 years of age. An epidemic has caused rapid organ failures which introduces a new company, GeneCo. GeneCo provides transplants at great prices but there is a catch.
