My internal monologue would be a torrent of 'What if I mess up? What if they laugh? I'm not good enough.' By the time I got to the podium, I'd already lost the battle mentally, and my performance would reflect that anxiety. It's a classic example of how losing in your mind directly translates to *losing in life*. So, how do we flip that script and start *winning in our minds*? It's not about being relentlessly positive every second – that's unrealistic. It's about building mental resilience and actively choosing how you respond to your thoughts. One practical step I swear by is 'thought challenging.' When a negative thought pops up, instead of accepting it, question it. Is it 100% true? What's the evidence against it?
