quietly one of my favourite bottega bag
i wasn’t expecting to love this as much as i do
the giorno is surprisingly thoughtful in the way it’s designed. the strap is fully adjustable depending on how much you cinch the drawstring, so you can wear it shorter on the shoulder or longer, slightly slouchy
i initially thought the strap might dig into my shoulder, but it doesn’t at all - it sits really comfortably
it's so roomy and fits a ton
also love that it works both ways:
on the shoulder, or folded into a clutch
some people say it’s just the bottega dustbag with a flap… and honestly, it kind of is. but it’s that flap that makes all the difference - it adds structure, intention, and makes it feel like such a classic piece
it’s one of those bags that feels timeless, but not in an obvious, everywhere kind of way
it comes in fondant and ecru (leather), and cloudy indigo / gravel in suede. the suede almost reads like denim, which i love
i’m a bottega girl through and through…
i just know i’d still be carrying one of my bottega bags 50 years from now, still strutting down the streets

When I first heard about the Bottega Giorno bag, I was curious if it was just another fashion hype or truly worth it. After using it daily, I can confidently say this bag is a game changer. The lightweight design surprised me—it doesn’t feel bulky even filled to capacity. Its versatility to be worn as a slouchy shoulder bag or folded into a sleek clutch means it effortlessly transitions from day to night. I also appreciate the material options: the fondant and ecru leathers have a smooth, luxurious feel, while the suede variants with a denim-like texture add an unexpected casual edge. Personally, the suede in cloudy indigo is my favorite for its unique hue and relaxed vibe. The strap’s adjustability is another thoughtful feature; I was worried it might dig into my shoulder, but it sits so comfortably I barely notice it. For those wondering if the Giorno is worth it or if there are dupes, I’d say the quality and subtle design details are hard to match. While some say it resembles Bottega’s dustbag with a flap, that flap creates structure and intention that elevate its style, making it feel like a timeless classic rather than just another trend. If you’re looking for a bag that combines luxury with functionality and a unique style that lasts, the Bottega Giorno is definitely worth considering. It’s become a staple in my collection, and I can see myself carrying it for decades.
