Saint Lucia 🇱🇨 Itinerary
If you didn’t have St.Lucia on your list to visit add it now.
It was one of the most beautiful islands I’ve ever been on! From the hospitality to the history you learn. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food 🍛. Oh I could recommend and go on and on about even more spots to try out. SO GOOD. Matthews is a MUST. I could also tell you where to avoid.
The beaches were great. St Lucia Pitons ⛰️ is a MUST see and you can actually hike them. I didn’t even list all the activities you could do, there is a plethora to pick from! Reef 🪸 diving, fishing 🎣 , waterfalls. I suggest using Viator for booking excursions, most options allow you to have a driver to and from destinations. Sometimes even lunch. You can also see others reviews and suggestions!
Saint Lucia 🇱🇨 is known to be one of the top rated honeymoon destinations so if you’re looking to honeymoon, relax, or explore nature I highly suggest.
As always, don’t forget when visiting other countries to be respectful and mindful of their culture and customs!
*This trip is more on the costly/expensive side and some hotels may require to be booked a year in advance so please be mindful!
If you have any questions feel free to ask! Catch you on the next one Roamers 😊🧡.

After my last trip to Saint Lucia, I just had to share more of my insider tips and favorite finds! It's truly a paradise, and I want to help you plan your own unforgettable trip, whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation, or cultural immersion. Beyond the iconic Pitons hike (which is absolutely worth the effort for those breathtaking views!), don't miss out on some other thrilling experiences. I highly recommend trying Rainforest Zip Lining – it's an exhilarating way to see the island's lush interior from a unique perspective. And for something truly unique and beneficial, the Sulphur Springs mud baths are a must-try; my skin felt amazing afterwards! If you're looking for some family-friendly fun or just a lively time, Gros Islet Splash Island was a blast. For water lovers, reef diving revealed incredible marine life, and I even saw some folks enjoying fishing trips right off the coast, bringing in their fresh catch. Let's talk food! Matthew's, as I mentioned, is fantastic – their local dishes are a flavor explosion you won't want to miss. But also, do yourself a favor and check out The Pink Plantation for a dining experience with an incredible ambiance amidst lush gardens. When it comes to places to stay, I found that planning ahead is key. For a luxurious, romantic escape, Serenity at Coconut Bay looked absolutely divine (though it requires booking way in advance!). If you prefer something more private or a home-away-from-home feel, Airbnbs like Villa Colibri offer a charming, authentic stay, often with stunning views. Searching for 'Airbnb Saint Lucia' gave me so many great options, and often owners provided fantastic local tips. One thing that truly stands out from my trip is the warmth of the St. Lucian people. They are so welcoming and always ready to share a smile or a story. Remember to be respectful of their customs, and don't be afraid to engage – you'll learn so much and enrich your travel experience! For transport, using a reliable driver is a game-changer, especially for navigating the winding roads to places like the Pitons or those hidden waterfalls. I found Viator helpful not just for booking excursions like the ones I mentioned, but also for pre-booking transfers, which saved a lot of hassle and ensured I got to destinations comfortably. Planning an itinerary allows you to balance relaxation with adventure, whether you're dreaming of a romantic honeymoon or an active exploration. Don't forget to factor in travel time between destinations, as the island, though small, has diverse landscapes. Just a friendly reminder again that while Saint Lucia can be a splurge, there are ways to make it work. Keep an eye on flight deals and compare Airbnb prices. Booking popular hotels or specific excursions early, sometimes a year out for high-demand spots, can also secure better rates or availability. It's all about making those memories worthwhile!
