1) Eastern Sierra Hot Springs
A road trip up of the 395 highway is something that I will never grow tired of. The eastern sierras are so magnificent. Every time I visit I find a new favorite spot.
There are over a dozen hot springs sprinkled along the 395 highway I recommend you do your research before visiting. Keep in mind that some of these Hot Springs are man-made pools filled with natural hot spring water.
Some of the hot springs do require you to clean it before using due to algae build up so please keep that in mind and bring the proper tools to clean.
Some of these hot springs are boiling hot so please be careful getting into them. Always check the temperature first!!
2) The Cayucos shipwreck is definitely a must see if you're driving down California 1 Highway, it's about a 500 ft hike from the road. You can spend as much or as little time here it's a Perfect pitstop to stretch your legs and enjoy the view.
3 & 4) to be honest, when you're driving along California 1 highway you're going to want to stop constantly because all of these views and beaches are so beautiful! One of the more famous beaches to stop at is Pfeiffer Beach.
It's home to keyhole arch, which is famously photographed during certain times of the year when the sun sets perfectly through the hole in the arch.
It's a great way to meet other photographers and you can't beat the views!
5) It wouldn't be a California Coast Road trip without stopping at the famous Bixby creek bridge built in 1932 it's one of the highest Bridges of its kind standing at 260 feet above the steep canyon that leads into the pacific coast.
