In one small market.
There was a man that people knew well.
It's not because he's kind.
But because he always "thinks of himself"
When there's good stuff, he'll keep it first.
Time is in trouble. He'll push someone else to take it instead.
Even in words, he chooses to speak only to make himself look good.
One day it rained so hard that the river overflowed.
The water quickly flooded the village.
Everyone helps each other.
Help bring the old and the young to the heights.
But the man ran to collect the money.
Gold storage
Put valuables in their own sacks.
He's carrying everything tight.
Tight until almost unable to walk
On the way, he saw an old woman falling in the middle of the water.
She reached out for help.
But he only looked at it.
Before hurriedly walking away
"If I help her, my whole thing might disappear."
He only thought
Before long, the tide grew stronger.
The man tried to escape.
But the more he carried, the more he sank.
The sack of money that he is very possessive
Turns out it was the weight that pulled him.
While the others survived.
Because each helps to support
Help each other carry
Help pull together
He returned, no one turned to help.
It's not because people are mean.
But because all my life
He never reached out to anyone either.
Before the water blows him away.
He saw the people on the shore helping warmly.
The sound of calling
A comforting voice.
The voice of concern.
And for the first time in my life,
He just understood that.
Selfish people.
There may be everything on a day that is not yet difficult.
But when it comes to the day life falls,
What really supports humans.
Not money.
But the "hearts of those around us" that we once maintained.
