If God delivered the Israelites and set them free from slavery.

God can set us free as well.

The enemy wants us to keep our sin hidden. But God knows our heart. We can't hide anything from God.

Today let us rise up and be the generation to examine our hearts and cry out to God for repentance.

Heavenly Father you know everything and nothing is hidden from you. This morning I come to your presence and confess my sins, my struggles and my failures. Set me free Lord and correct, cleanse, and restore me in Jesus mighty name. AMEN!!

Just as God freed them, He desires to liberate us from the hold of sin that often remains hidden in our hearts. Achan's story, referenced in Joshua 7:1, highlights the consequences of holding onto sin and the importance of confessing and surrendering it completely. In my own experience, fully surrendering to God requires honesty and humility—acknowledging not only our visible mistakes but also the hidden struggles that weigh us down. This act of surrender is a daily choice. When I take the time to examine my heart and openly confess my failures to God, I feel a profound sense of relief and renewal. It’s not always easy, but trusting that God knows our true hearts helps me overcome shame and fear. Moreover, surrendering our sins allows God to work in our lives—correcting, cleansing, and restoring us as mentioned in the prayer. This transformation brings true freedom, far beyond temporary relief. It empowers us to live with greater purpose and peace, embracing God’s grace. For those struggling to let go, I encourage creating moments of quiet reflection, perhaps with scripture reading, prayer, and journaling. Acknowledging our imperfections before God, who is loving and just, opens the door to healing and restoration. Through surrender, we become part of a generation willing to rise above hidden sin and walk in the light of God’s truth.
