February 14th: “Busy Valentine Day!!!!!!” #365daysofmylife #workingmomof6 #busymomlife #busysaturday #valentinesday
Valentine’s Day can be a whirlwind, especially when you’re juggling the responsibilities of being a working mom to six children. From my own experience, days like these come packed with nonstop activities—from early morning basketball games to a quick run to Sam’s Club with the kids in tow. Managing such a busy schedule means multitasking is the norm rather than the exception. One thing I’ve learned is the importance of preparation and flexibility. On a typical busy Saturday, you'll find me cooking meals to ensure everyone eats, styling hair (which can be quite the task!), and constantly shuttling kids between events. It’s definitely draining at times, but also incredibly rewarding to see my family thrive. Sleep often becomes a luxury, something I catch up on whenever possible. It’s funny how weekends, which should be a time to rest, often turn into the busiest days of the week. But embracing this busy mom life means finding joy in small moments—like watching my kids play sports or sharing a simple meal together. For moms balancing work and a large family, Valentine’s Day might not look like a romantic evening out, but rather a day full of love shown through actions, care, and togetherness despite the chaos. To others in the same boat, remember to take a breath and celebrate your strength and dedication. You’re doing an amazing job managing all these roles with love and commitment.
