We must think before we do, think before you do something you’re not sure of. Is this a sin? Would Jesus do it? If the answer is yes then you can do it. If it is no then don’t do it

It's amazing how a simple question can guide so much of my day. Asking 'Would Jesus do it?' before I speak or act has become my personal compass. It’s not always easy, but it truly helps me align my choices with #GodsWay. This isn't just about avoiding sin, but about actively seeking to embody love, patience, and kindness in every interaction, just as we see in the teachings and life of Jesus. And the Verse of the Day from Matthew 6:34 KJV, 'Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof,' is such a powerful reminder to live in the present. I used to get so stressed worrying about what tomorrow might bring, but this verse encourages me to trust that God has already taken thought for those things. It really helps me find peace and focus my energy on what I can do today. That feeling of 'sufficient unto the day' is such a relief! For me, truly believing in God means trusting His timing and provision. When I focus on living right today, serving the Lord becomes less about grand gestures and more about consistent, small acts of faith. It's about being present, compassionate, and making decisions that reflect His love. This daily practice strengthens my faith and helps me feel at Jesus' feet, learning from His example. Sometimes, just seeing a picture of faith or a beautifully designed calligraphy bible verse can be a powerful visual reminder. I love seeing images that depict biblical stories, like a robed figure walking on water – it instantly brings me back to the power and presence of Jesus. These visuals, combined with strength short bible verses about trusting God, really help anchor my spirit when things get tough. They remind me that Jesus loves us and gives us the strength we need. While some might interpret 'a man should be sufficient unto himself' as complete independence, I find that Matthew 6:34 actually points to a different kind of sufficiency – God's provision for each day. It’s not about us being independently sufficient in our own strength, but rather knowing that God provides enough grace and strength for today's challenges. This understanding helps me to not be overwhelmed by future uncertainties, but to trust in divine sufficiency. It's a wonderful way to find peace and reduce anxiety, focusing on the verse for the day. Embracing these principles daily has made such a difference in my spiritual journey. It’s a continuous effort to live intentionally, guided by timeless wisdom, and always asking, 'What would truly honor God in this moment?'
