Bbl Scavenger Hunt pt 7
I might swerve bend that corner🎅🏿University at Albany
Who doesn't love a good bar crawl? But let's be real, sometimes they can get a little repetitive. That's where bar crawl challenges and tasks come in! They turn a regular night out into an epic adventure filled with laughs, unforgettable moments, and maybe a few silly dares. I recently put together a list of my favorite challenges for my friends at University at Albany, and let me tell you, it was a blast! One of our go-to tasks is the 'Signature Sip' challenge – at each new bar, everyone has to order something they've never tried before, or a local specialty. It gets us out of our comfort zone and we've discovered some amazing new drinks that way. Another fun one is the 'Photo Booth Frenzy' – if a bar has a photo booth, you have to cram everyone in for the craziest picture possible. If not, a creative group selfie with a unique background works just as well! We also love incorporating a 'Scavenger Hunt' element. For instance, one bar crawl task could be to collect a unique coaster from every establishment you visit, or get a business card from a bartender. It’s surprising how competitive everyone gets! My buddy, who was sporting his green polo and cap that night, was determined to get a high-five from every bouncer – that definitely sparked some funny interactions. We even had a challenge where someone had to buy a ridiculously obscure snack from a nearby convenience store for the group to share. Seeing their face trying to explain what they needed was priceless! Social challenges are also a hit. Try to get a stranger to tell you their best travel story, or get a compliment from someone outside your group. One time, the task was to get a kiss on the cheek from a friend (or a very brave stranger!), which led to some hilarious photo ops. These tasks encourage interaction and make the night feel more dynamic. Beyond just drinking, consider tasks that involve observation or creativity. 'Spot the Hat' where you have to find someone wearing a specific type of hat, or 'Name That Tune' where you have to identify a song playing and sing a line from it. The key is to keep it lighthearted and fun. Tips for a Successful Bar Crawl with Challenges: Plan Ahead: Decide on the challenges before you start. Write them down or use an app. Keep it Safe: Always designate a sober driver or plan for rideshares. Drink responsibly and know your limits. The goal is fun, not overdoing it. Mix it Up: Combine easy, funny, and slightly more challenging tasks to keep everyone engaged. Team Up: Sometimes doing challenges in pairs or small teams makes it even more collaborative and fun. Capture the Memories: Take photos and videos! The tasks often lead to the best candid shots. Adding challenges truly elevates a bar crawl from just hopping between bars to a memorable experience. Give these bar crawl tasks a try on your next night out – you won't regret it!
