I capture every moment to see how far I have come in my journey so far. Not only in my weight loss but especially in my running journey. My training for my first marathon next month!
This video was Probaly from May and just seeing that till now I have made some strides of improvement. But also training has its flaws and downs to. No training is ever perfect I learned that now for sure. Push yourself so far and remember those rest days are so important!

Many runners often wonder, "Why do you take so many pictures and photos during your runs and races?" These snapshots serve a deeper purpose beyond just memories. For me, capturing these moments is a powerful reminder of how far I've come, especially as I prepare for my first marathon. Reflecting on progress through photos helps maintain motivation and provides tangible evidence of improvement that might not be obvious day to day. Training for a marathon is undoubtedly demanding, and it’s easy to get caught up in pushing to hit every goal perfectly. However, accepting that no training regimen is flawless is crucial for long-term success. There will be tough days and setbacks, but the consistent effort and learning from each experience are what truly matter. Rest days, often overlooked, are essential—they allow the body and mind to recover, reducing injury risk and boosting performance. Incorporating mental health awareness into marathon training can help address the emotional challenges athletes face. Balancing physical effort with psychological resilience promotes a healthier, more sustainable training lifestyle. Sharing this journey with a community, as I do, encourages accountability and support. Ultimately, these photos and reflections are not just about showing progress but about embracing the entire journey. Whether weight loss, running improvements, or mental health, documenting and celebrating every step fosters motivation and inspires others pursuing similar goals.
