Wow, what a year it's been! My Strava Wrapped 2025 just landed, and I'm absolutely thrilled with my progress. It’s always so motivating to look back at all the hard work and see it summarized so well. While the original post was just a quick shout-out, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into what these numbers really mean and how I managed to hit some of my best Strava achievements yet! First off, let's talk about the incredible 67-week streak. Yes, you read that right – 67 consecutive weeks of logging activity on Strava! This wasn't just about hitting the pavement every single day, but consistently moving my body, whether it was a long run, a brisk walk, or a strength session. It started back in August 2024 and carried all the way through to December 2025. Maintaining a Strava streak like this requires dedication, but also flexibility. Some days it was just a quick mile, other days it was a full workout. The key for me was making movement a non-negotiable part of my routine. It's truly rewarding to see myself in the Top 5% on Strava for this! Looking at my overall activity, I logged an impressive 206 total active days in 2025, which is a fantastic increase from the previous year. That means I was active more than two-thirds of the year! In terms of hours, I spent 149 hours and 38 minutes on my top sports, and overall, 212 hours of activity. For those curious about what 206 hours in days translates to, it's roughly 8.5 full days of constant movement – pretty wild when you think about it! My mileage also shot up, hitting 269 miles and climbing 10,004 ft in elevation. This significant increase, especially the 503% jump in elevation, shows how much I pushed myself out of my comfort zone, exploring new routes and challenges. Participating in events also plays a huge role. I remember proudly wearing my LGBTQIA+ 5K Maimonides Health shirt, and those kinds of community events always give an extra boost of motivation. Don't be afraid to mix up your workouts. While I'm primarily a runner, I incorporate cross-training to stay injury-free and keep things interesting.
