My offical take on the United Airlines Half Marathon!

1. I didn't overthink this race like other previous race I ran. By keeping looking at my watch looking at my pace to fueling too little or too much at every 5k.

2. Training Plan! Created a plan after the Philly Marathon in November. Running an average of 15 miles per week and a mix with CrossFit as well. Following a plan pays off when learning how your body trains and heals.

3. Enjoy all the views! Running from Prosect Park to Central Park was definitely by far one of my favorite routes. Flying past Brooklyn heading to the Brooklyn bridge all from energy high and the people to having my own lil party in Time Square seeing thousands of people.

4. Motivation! No race will ever be perfect but keeping a good stamina and good energy helps. Achieving any kind of PR from any race is such an achievement. Getting a 15 min PR from my last half marathon was such a shock but made me so dam proud!
